Nine Belle Plaine wrestlers qualified for Saturday's district meet at Eddyville-Blakesburg.

This bald eagle was seen perched in the trees just north of the UI Family Practice Clinic Friday morning. State officials say the number of bald eagles in the state has been on the increase in the past few years.
