We’ve been up and running with this grand experiment for about a month now and the response has been tremendously gratifying, both from our readers and our advertisers.
We’ve been entrusted with being your electronic source for local information and it’s a trust we don’t take lightly! I have mentioned to several readers that this is truly a learning experience for me. It is also a combined effort, which includes you, the reader.
You can be a part of this exciting new effort in several ways. First of all, add this site to your “favorites” list on your computer and check back often each week. We are striving to have something new on the site each day.
Second, if you have news you would like to tell others, if you are getting married or hosting a meeting, if you or someone in your family is graduating from college or has entered the military, if they have received any honors, etc., please let us know. I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN AROUND TO ACCESSING THE PAPER. FOUND IT REALLY NEAT AND EXCITING TO BE ABLE TO READ IT ON THE COMPUTER. I MAY HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE BECAUSE I MUST HAVE THE “REST OF THE STORIES” LET ME KNOW IF I CAN AFFORD YOU AND HOW TO GO ABOUT SUBSCRIBING.
